Welcome to the Hitching Post Tavern, originally a turn of the century Post Office.

Inside you will experience a feel of the old wild west from its earlier days as The Stony Creek Dude Ranch established in 1935. It was originally a dance hall for the cowboys and girls through the 60's.

​

Located directly across from the lodge, the tavern is

 a wonderful asset for guests, creating another layer

of fun during the evening for all ages.

​

Step inside and enjoy an Adirondack themed cocktail, glass of wine or beer. We play music of all genres, 

 and the large dance floor has ample room for those fun group dances.

​

Grab the microphone, request a song and sing the night away!

Up the spiral staircase...experience the loft, a cozy and unique space for lounging.

The Tavern is family friendly during reunions!

​

Step outside, the bonfire is lit and S'more's are complimentary.

 

Reunions can choose 1 night of free hotdogs from our hot dog cart...help yourselves! 

 

The Tavern opens 7:00 PM for family reunions but can be opened earlier upon request for special events.
